Smith I positively don’t give Nokia enough credit. Despite the fact that the company’s Symbian OS doesn’t live up to the hype surrounding competition platforms like iOS and Android, Nokia has undoubtedly made a name by itself in the world.
Then yet again, they are the world’s leading OEM handset manufacturer so saying this may just seem like a boom but it should be said nonetheless. (more…)
November 29th, 2010 Smith The Nokia N8 release didn’t go exactly to plan with such extended delays and after then suffering from a power-on bug. Nokia have put that to one side now and users are now enjoying the enormous smart-phone experience that the powerhouse mobile offers.
Blue version of the N8 is listed on the Nokia website as releasing latterly of November, which is in a flash. It’s fairly an eye-catching color that will surely attract the youngsters and the ladies. (more…)

The Nokia N8 still hasn’t got an official launch date but it’s looking like 26th August is the favourite date right now. What’s more, it’s looking like Orange customers will be able to get their hands on the first Symbian^3 smartphone as soon as it launches. The Nokia N8 is a 3.5-inch smartphone with capacitive touchscreen. That’s cool in itself but the addition of a 12-Megapixel camera and the fact it also supports HD video recording and output courtesy of the HDMI port, means this is going to be one hell of a media device. (more…)

Nokia’s new flagship handset, the N8, is set to finally touch ground on the 26th of August if the listing on two online mobile phone retailers are to be believed.Mobilefun and Play have the handset on preorder SIM Free for £420 in black with the later aiming to deliver the N8 on the 31st of August. The device is listed as coming soon on Vodafone where you can also register to get more details.
The N8 would cost significantly more than the HTC Desire but less than the iPhone 4G 16GB and the same as the Samsung Galaxy S. The Nokia smartphone differs from a number of its competitors by incorporating 16GB of memory by default.The rest of the configuration is not half bad as well. There’s a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen, a 12-megapixel camera (the highest on the market), HD Video recording and is based on the Symbian^3 OS. (more…)

The Symbian^3 based Nokia N8 will be available to buy from August 24. The release date is a notable move for Nokia since it planned it’s initial release in July. This was because of the notion that the phone would be enabled with their new Symbian^3 OS. Due to the new OS, the Nokia will apparently be 180 per cent faster than the Nokia N97.Since the phone is now being released in August, Nokia has made some slight changes but progress has obviously been maintained. Yesterday we revealed that the Symbian^3-based Nokia N8 was soon to be released on T-Mobile UK, now Vodafone UK have the smartphone listed in the coming soon section of their website. No solid release date is known at present, however if you check out this link you can register your interest in the Vodafone Nokia N8, once registered you should receive release and pricing information via email. The Nokia N8 will soon be available from Vodafone – plus it has just hit the carrier’s website, and you can register for availability updates now. The Nokia N8 has just been granted its own webpage on the Vodafone UK website. It’s not yet available to pre-order, but it won’t be long so register for N8 updates if you’re interested in Nokia’s next flagship smartphone. The Nokia N8 is the first phone to run off the Symbian^3 operating system, and features a super-powered 12-megapixel camera to boot. (more…)
